A little birdie told me you were sick
That’s not nice I hope you get better quick
I thought it may help if I sent you this gift
The thought of playing with it may give you a lift

It is not much fun when you are sick and not able to play
So I am sending you this magic card to help you feel better every day
And when enough days have passed this card will have done the trick
Then you can get out of bed to play and no longer be sick

by Margmax

I hear you are covered in nasty spots and feeling rather ill
I know you must be fed up because you can't get rid of them with a pill
You could pretend you are in fancy dress and being Mr Blobby
Or you could just use the time at home to pursue a favourite hobby

by Margmax

Feeling ill - that's not good
Bet mom is spoiling you with your favourite food
But even being made a fuss of becomes a bore
So get well soon and back to doing the things you adore

by Margmax

If I had some fairy dust I would sprinkle it over you
To make you feel better and able to do the things you like to do
But as I have no magic you must do what the doctor (mammy)says
And then very soon you will feel better and able to got out to play

by Margmax

If I had a magic lamp I would make a wish today
The wish would be for my darling girl/boy to be able to come and play
But I do not have a magic lamp with a genie to grant my wish
So instead I am sending this card full of hugs and a great big kiss

Get well children poems for when your little person is ill

A little birdie told me you are feeling ill
You have to stay in bed and take lots of pills
I hope you are soon able to come out to play
So keep taking the pills so I can call for you everyday

Margmax 2011

Being in hospital is not much fun
You cannot go out to play in the rain or the sun
You have to stay in bed quite a lot
and thats very boring and it makes you cross
But if you are good and do everything as you should
You will soon be back home and feeling good

by Margmax 2011

We have made this card just for you
With wishes that you are soon as good as new
We miss you lots and teacher says when you return
What you have missed you can soon learn

get well children poems to cheer and wish well

I wish I had a magic wand to take away the pain
But all I can do is sit at home and hope my prayers are not in vain
So please all say a prayer for baby (name?) as she struggles to survive
And maybe God will hear us and send an angel to help her stay alive

This is why on this site every poem is written by me so if you find one of my poems somewhere else without my name please inform the user that they are stealing someone else's work - thankyou.
