Sympathy Poems Verses for that difficult time when what to say does not come easy. At times it is difficult to find a card with the right words to say and it is never as personal as adding your own words of sympathy. I hope I have found the right words for you in one of my verses

I really am so sorry to hear about your sad loss
Life is often so very difficult and we have to bear the cost
I know you will be supported by the people you hold dear
It’s at such times as this we need our friends so near

But with the passage of time it will be easier to show
Fond memories of your (loved one/mother/father etc) from the years you spent with them
You will be able to smile at the good times until you meet them once again

Please know that I am thinking of you - I know this time is hard
Take comfort in your family and those that you hold dear
Sometimes it is hard to accept things they often seem unclear

Life can be good life can be bad
Life can be happy but also sad
When it is happy we accept it and don’t look for doubt
When it is sad we always question and often shout

Why me? we have all been guilty of saying this
Unfortunately life cannot always be full of bliss
This is your “Why me” time I am sorry to say
Stay strong my (friend) you will improve day by day
